as promised I am sleepy but will give you a prevalent thought on my mind at this 2:00 hour;

Why the heck do we have to make things so hard? Our faith, friends, church, romantic relationships....Is this what God gave us an intellect for? To think ourselves into oblivion and unhappiness and loss? This is frustration that applies to myself and my loved ones. Maybe things can be simpler than we make them.

As I lay down to finally sleep, I will think on who Jesus is. He is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control. I pray that is one thing we can't mess up or overcomplicate.
